Annies Attic is located in Berne, Ind. The company published its first needlecraft pattern in 1975 and quickly became one of Americas premiere sources for innovative and classic designs, especially in crochet. Patterns were first sold individually, but were eventually combined in a catalog that also featured key supplies.
In 2001, the focus of Annies Attic expanded to include young crafters. Creative Girls Club was designed specifically for girls ages 7 through 12, offering members two complete craft kits every six weeks. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions to help young crafters complete each project with little or no adult help. The club was so popular that in 2002 Annies came out with a similar kit club for older girls and adults, called Creative Woman Kit-of-the-Month Club. This adult version of the club delivers an exciting new craft kit every month.
The goal of Annies Attic is to help bring charm, elegance and romance into the lives of its customers by publishing a wide variety of high quality needlecraft and craft patterns. These patterns are known for exceptional accuracy and clarity in their instructions and brilliant, creative photography.
