Am Charts Coupons

amCharts is a small company based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The beginning of amCharts and amMap was in 2004, when the first version of amMap was made. Antanas Marcelionis worked as a manager in a web development company and, being a fan of maps and traveling, wanted to have a tool which would work like a pin-map for him. So he did this tool in his free time. In 2006 Antanas left his job without any clear idea what he’ll do next. With the help of some friends he deepened his programming knowledge (programming was only a hobby since he knew Basic on famous Sinclair ZX Spectrum), and one day he decided to make a pie chart. It took several months to release first version of pie chart. And then it all happened almost like in this Dilbert comic strip. The first chart was featured in several articles and people started using it. After a couple of months line & area chart was introduced, and column & bar chart followed. amCharts started to gain popularity and recognition. At the moment amCharts’ products are among the most popular on the market. Many world famous companies recognized amCharts as the best charting solution. amCharts havent spend a single penny on marketing. We believe that if you do the right things they will market themselves. And indeed, a lot of magazines and bloggers wrote about amCharts. One of the most popular magazines among web designers, Smashing magazine, had a dedicated article about amCharts and amMap. We say a big thank you to everybody who wrote and linked to us amCharts is still a small company. Antanas Marcelionis keeps programming the charts, looks after the web site and provides most of the support for the clients. Alan Mendelevich has produced ASP.NET controls for amCharts and is working on WPF version of amCharts. Martynas Majeris does customizations for clients with specific needs and helps implementing amCharts and amMap for them. Ty Richins prepares vector maps for amMap. And… that’s it. Yes, we could hire a separate team for support and maintenance, but we believe that providing support to our clients directly allows us to understand their needs quicker. Since the first release of amCharts a lot of updates were released (and all of them were free). Most of the updates were made after receiving feedback or feature suggestions from the users of amCharts. We continue working on amCharts and amMap and we enjoy it very much. We believe that our products are the best, we still have a lot of things to do. We are happy to hear from you – if you want to ask, suggest something, show how you are using amCharts and amMap, you are always welcome to contact us. Best regards, amCharts and amMap team
